Dear NZ Veterans, well it has been another busy year of services, commemorations and activities and to show our gratitude for those Veterans that have supported us, we host an annual NZ Veteran Christmas Lunch at the Chatswood RSL Club directly after our last meeting for the year.
Today our entertainment was provided by Trevor T Martin and although Trevor is a Kiwi Elvis, he sang a number of old songs and even one that got our 96 year old WWII (Egypt/Italy) Veteran 279154 Capt (Rtd) Bruce Harris singing which was nice.
Thank you again to the CEO of the Chatswood RSL Club, Tony Snowsill for providing us a venue and support every year to host our small lunch. And it certainly was an absolutely beautiful lunch.
Thank you Trevor for your entertainment which ended up being taken over by some of the Veterans displaying their extremely talented voices to some songs.
Thank you to Tahi Gage and Elsie Wellington from the Church of Te Wairua Tapu for your support today. The Church has supported us for many years now and is very much appreciated.
Thank you NZ Veterans and families for another busy but memorable year.
We look forward to your continued support in the New Year.
